Submit to Scientific Informer

Scientific Informer encourages the submission of articles covering technology, physics, chemistry, biology, and geosciences targeted to a general interest audience. Specifically, we look to publish articles on topics and/or scientific advances that explain and contextualise high-interest, high-impact research to the scientific enthusiast — with the goal of inspiring and informing our readership.

Editorial policies

All articles will be reviewed for suitability of publication by the Scientific Informer editorial team. Your article will be reviewed to ensure that the tonality and level of language used is appropriate for the intended audience of Scientific Informer, as well as to ensure the accuracy and validity of content in the article. To this end, your article may undergo editing prior to publication; all revisions will be shared and agreed with authors prior to publication.

Artificial intelligence policies

Authors should disclose clearly if artificial intelligence software was used to assist with the development of the article and clearly disclosure the way it was used. This information will be listed clearly on the Scientific Informer website alongside the published article.

Social media amplification

Scientific Informer intends to inform and inspire the widest audience possible with our content. As such, all authors are required to give their permission for their work to be posted on the social media accounts of Scientific Informer. Authors are expected to ensure that they have institutional approval to publish their work in Scientific Informer and have the article promoted over social media.

These articles report on the most recent research within the fields of technology, physics, chemistry, biology, and geosciences. The article should summarise the findings of the research in question in a concise, insightful manner, as well as contextualise the findings within the wider field of study. The language used should be approachable for those not considered experts in the field. Please clearly indicate or provide the research on which the article is written.

Educational summaries

These articles are intended to inform and educate the Scientific Informer audience on specific topics within the fields of technology, physics, chemistry, biology, and geosciences. The language used should be approachable for those not considered experts in the field.

Other
